Latin Mass

At the Cathedral we have the great privilege to celebrate Holy Mass using the Missal of 1962, what some call the Tridentine or Traditional Mass twice a week and whenever there is a major feast. This is done according to the norms set forth by Pope Francis in Traditiones Custodes.

The Latin Mass is celebrated on Sundays at 4 PM (Sung Mass)

and on Fridays at 6:30 PM (Low Mass)

Monday August 29: The Beheading of St. John the Baptist. Solemn High Mass at 6:30 PM

Wednesday September 14. Exaltation of the Holy Cross. Sung Mass at 6:30 PM

Thursday September 29 Dedication of St Michael. Sung Mass at 6:30 PM

Monday October 3. Dedication of the Cathedral. Solemn High Mass at 6:30 PM

Friday October 7. O.L. of the Holy Rosary, Patroness of the Cathedral & Archdiocese. Sung Mass at 6:30 PM

Tuesday November 1 Feasts of All Saints. Sung Mass at 6:30 PM

Wednesday November 2 Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed. Sung Requiem at 6:30 PM

Thursday December 8, the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary. Sung Mass at 6:30 PM
