Understanding the Liturgy

The Catholic Mass is the central act of worship in the life of a Catholic, but few are aware of what it means. While some Catholics may know the prayers and responses said in the liturgy, many do not know their significance or historical development. The true beauty of Mass is seen when you break it down into its components and explain each of the steps in a way that you might understand more clearly. This course explains the Catholic Mass so that you will have a better understanding of what it is, what it does and how it is essential to Christian growth. Saturday, May 28, from 10am to 4pm, John Paul II Pastoral Centre, 4885 Saint John Paul II Way. Cost: $40 and includes lunch.
