Archbishop Miller has approved an emergency collection at all Masses the weekend of Oct. 4 for the Syrian refugees. Funds raised in the collection will be distributed among three Catholic agencies with operating programs assisting Syrian refugees in their countries of asylum: the Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace, the Catholic Near East Welfare Association, and Aid to the Church in Need Canada.
