First Nations Culture and Movement for Survival

First Nations people have survived for over 500 years by using their culture as a shield against colonialism which had begun to take away their identity as indigenous peoples of Canada. Dr. Patricia Vickers explains and demonstrates about healing through culture and movement by First Nations people as a way of their surviving in our society today. St. Kateri Tekakwitha Centre, 887 Keefer Street. Saturday, Sept. 12, from 1pm to 3:30pm.
