Solidarity visitor from the Philippines, Father Edwin Gariguez, Executive Secretary of Caritas-NASSA (National Secretariat for Social Action) is on a visit from the Philippines to spread the word about aid to the global South. He will share his experiences about work with peasant farmers, the reconstruction work of NASSA Caritas Philippines after Typhoon Haiyan, spirituality and social justice. Fr. Edwin Gariguez, is a priest whose work protecting the environment by leading a grassroots movement, was named as one of six winners of the Goldman Environmental Prize. This prize honours grassroots environmental heroes from all over the world.
