DESCRIPTION:Archbishop Richard Smith invites all Catholics in the Archdiocese of Vancouver to come together in prayer each month for peace in our world\, particularly in the Holy Land\, Ukraine\, and other areas affected by violence and conflict. \nAs Christians\, one of the most powerful ways we can call for peace is through prayer. On Saturday\, October 4 at 11:00 a.m.\, join the Archbishop at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary for a special rosary\, entrusting our prayers to the Blessed Virgin Mary\, Queen of Peace\, on this First Saturday of the month. \nYou can take part by attending in person at the cathedral or by joining the livestream on YouTube as we pray to the Immaculate Heart of Mary for peace in our world. \nCome with your parish ministry group\, Catholic school\, youth or young adult group\, or prayer group to take part in this monthly Rosary. SUMMARY:Relics of the Canadian Martyrs
DESCRIPTION:The major relics of the Canadian Martyrs\, including the skull of St. Jean de Brébeuf and bones of St. Charles Garnier and St. Gabriel Lalemant\, will be at the Cathedral on Sunday\, Jan. 12\, and Monday\, Jan. 13. \nOn Sunday\, Mass will be celebrated by His Grace the Archbishop at 11 AM and in Spanish by Fr. John O’Brien at 6:30 PM. \nVeneration of the relics will be available during the following times: 12:30–1:00 PM\, 2:00–4:00 PM\, and 7:30–8:00 PM. \nOn Monday\, Jan. 13\, a Votive Mass of St. Jean de Brebeuf will be celebrated at 12:10 PM\, with veneration available from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. \nFor more information please click here.
