Archbishop Miller has appointed Deacon Juan Lucca as our new assistant pastor. Deacon Lucca was born in 1991 in Caracas, Venezuela. He came to Canada with his family in 2000. After going to Vancouver College, Deacon Lucca went to Seminary of Christ the King in Mission, BC for High School Seminary and Major Seminary. Deacon Lucca will be ordained a priest June 3 at noon at the Cathedral. You are cordially invited to the ordination.
Archbishop Miller has also appointed Fr. Pablo Santa Maria to study Canon Law at the University of Navarre, in Pamplona Spain. Fr. Dennis Flores has been appointed Assistant Pastor of St. Joseph the Worker in Richmond, and Fr. Federico Buttner as Assistant Pastor of Immaculate Conception in Delta.
