Archdiocesan Fall Institute: Living and Leading by Faith

Archdiocesan Formation Institutes offer one-day faith formation and ministry training courses for adults. Faith formation topics include: The 4 Signs of a Dynamic Catholic, Basics of the Faith, and Interreligious Dialogue. Ministry training is offered for LWC, PREP, and RCIA & Youth Ministry.     What is the difference between highly engaged Catholics and disengaged Catholics? If we truly want to engage Catholics and reinvigorate parish life, we must first discover what drives engagement among Catholics. Four things make the difference between highly engaged Catholics and disengaged Catholics, and The Four Signs of a Dynamic Catholic promises to take you on a journey that will help you to live out the genius of Catholicism in your everyday life. This dynamic workshop will walk you through the four signs with strategies to increase engagement in your spiritual life in order to become Dynamic Catholics.   • Basics of the Faith
    This course is aimed at helping to understand the Catholic faith more clearly. This 2-part course is based on the structure of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and will provide participants with: knowledge of the basics of Catholicism; an integration of what we as Catholics believe, how we celebrate it in liturgy and sacrament, and how we live and how we pray. Its relevance is made evident by a number of challenges that define our modern world. This workshop will explore the mutual influences of religion and culture in interfaith attitudes and the approaches of the Catholic Church.
